The implication that the US State department somehow has billions of dollars to… make Ukraine join the EU?? How or why would Barack Obama’s State Department do that? Sending a bureaucrat into an unstable post-communist country isn’t going to magically create a puppet government.

I never claimed that the US and their allies are altruistic peacekeepers (nor are the US and its various admistrations monoliths), but Jesus christ, come back to reality.
