Spotify forces you either to pay, listen to ads or to find unofficial, potentially dangerous versions to use it.

I actually have Spotify free and ViMusic installed and like them both. Where exactly are the ads in Spotify? I never see/hear them. Is that regional, like some other things? (eg Google TV new UI). Maybe I’m in a region where Spotify doesn’t push ads?
