Thank goodness. This project is decades overdue.
And while it might not do the most for moving people around the city, it’s a reputation thing.
Maybe I’m cynical but I wouldn’t get too excited about it. It’s not real until they start laying tracks.
Yeah I’m the same. Although I’d go a step further. I won’t be truly excited for it until I can go to a train station and get on a train that takes me to the airport. I’ve seen enough projects get scrapped even after the initial sods are turned that I don’t trust it to be done until it’s either at a stage where it would cost more to cancel it than to finish it (like if it’s 95% complete and they’d be charged a breach of contract fee to cancel it) or when it’s something I can ACTUALLY use. Until then it’s all just hot air to me
