At 19, João Neves is almost an entire midfield by himself. To have these numbers plus what he adds without the ball, which can be even more impressive, is simply unbelievable.

So it is true that his passing accuracy is not world class, i still believe we need a playmaker midfielder and Kimmic should go to right back

Can easily see why Chelsea is up there with most chances created in the league with 2 of their players near top right. Same with Atletico who suddenly don’t have scoring problems anymore.

Glad you guys learned to appreciate him for what he is… One of the best midfielders on the planet.

      Any news about his injury?

I can see our midfield there (enzo-de paul-alexis) but also can see Palacios, I wish he played more for us instead of Paredes

I watch most of the games and it makes sense. Saul usually drops deep to cover or makes good forward runs leaving Koke with more time on the ball or space and a target. RdP does the same but he usually comes short. Atletico’s wide wingbacks exploiting the space in behind are invaluable for it.

I’m not a fan of Koke as a 6 since he’s just not a 6 and is lacking in many aspects but it’s good to see his passing hasn’t fallen off.

We seriously miss Frenkie, but I am surprised by Romeu. He doesn’t try them much, but he is surprisingly very accurate with them. I hope the stories about his knees are true and that we are not stuck with him at this level…
