The thing is have many of those symptoms for years. Got tested, wasn’t diagnosed because the evidence in my childhood is missing, even though I’m way over the “threshold” to be diagnosed as an adult.

Welp, don’t have the energy to get a tested a second time at a different facility because they took 3 months to answer, require a reasoning from my doc and the wait list is 18 months. Meh.

Edit: Please ignore the missing words. I wrote this shortly after a nap.

Have you checked if you are me lately?

Except I did get a private diag after the public system one was a bust, but can’t find or never received the paperwork to give to my doctor (psychologists can’t prescribe here) and could never get through to that psych again, through email OR phone, and then gave up when the waitlist for another better public consult is 2+ years.

I cut out having friendships and most hobbies and am now technically functional and only slightly miserable, so that’s a plus.

Yeah, fuck that shit, I would’ve given up when I saw the waiting list. You’re a lot more patient than I am 😂.

    Relatable.

But the more important thing is that Guinea pigs have somewhat fragile spines, and should never be put into positions like this. Even when picking them up you want to support the lower half while holding the upper half to minimize bending.

It’s cute, but it’s pretty bad for the lil’pig.

    Rant over, thanks.

Ok, so without my meds I’m all of those. with my meds I’m fewer of those at the same time.

But now I’m wondering if that means my meds could be more effective

I realize how lucky I am to be surrounded by coworkers and family that appreciate and love me despite my inability to be “normal”. OP you can find people that will use your strengths and help with your weaknesses.

You wouldn’t use a hammer to drive in a screw. But I guess maybe if you were really pissed and agitated you could probably use one to remove it. Or you could use a drill. I have a dog. Ok bye.
