I have small 1 core vps server with a static ip in the internet. And I have a beefy personal computer that I want all the workload to go. So the idea is something like this, when my pc turns up it connects to the vps, and vps starts proxying all the traffic on ports 80, 443, 8000-9000 to my personal pc. I am not sure if it is possible because my internet provider only allows dynamic ips.

So the question is how to do it? maybe some tutorials or helpful links would be of great help.

Just install Tailscale on your home server, and the client apps on all your other devices, you’ll be able to access it from anywhere then.

Awesome, I think that was something I was looking for. I also found headscale self hosted alternative to it, have you tried it before.

For VPNs, I don’t want them to fail while I’m out and around, so it makes sense just to have tailscale around.

Zerotier is also a good favorite of mine. I usually have both VPNs for redundancy
