As a customer I usually prefer the self-checkout. It’s an easy job and the people doing it tend to do it more slowly than I’d prefer. I’d rather just do it myself.
This is one of those opinions that gets a bit squashed on the internet, but I trust that the serial crusher shall not be crushed…!
Anyhow, I tend to … agree, to some extent, with what you are saying. I honestly think that one of my experiences at a place is sped up dramatically from it, while in another without this sort of checkout it is actually slowed down.
I can’t argue against that point, but I also believe that keeping people in work is a very important part of the economy.
… Yet… Bringing in immigrants just to do checkout at a store to help the economy also seems funny, right.
