Have to disagree a lot here. I pretty much only play PC games because I hate buying console games that are unplayable after 1 generation or, with backwards compatibility, maybe an additional generation. PC games work forever between VMs and all that so I’m happy to spend money on those.
That being said… the only console I’ve bought in years was a PS5 (ok, my wife got it for me as a gift but it’s the same thing). Between the Spider-Man games, God of War, FFVII remake, Uncharted, etc., I’ve had a great experience and will continue to buy exclusives and, more than likely, re-buy them when they release on PC.
For most games, I’m a patient gamer. I don’t get them right away. Spider-Man 2 was the first time I got a game on launch day in a while and it kicks ass. Anything else needs to be 50% off or more before I go in.
