Where have all the websites gone?

It feels like all the cool websites from the late 2000s are gone. But maybe we are looking at this the wrong way. Maybe it is us who vanished.

    I don’t blame “us” either. Sure there are still websites out there but they are all enshittified. Facebook login required, plenty of ads, shitty regurgitated content that’s completely ruined by SEO, etc.
