A Cowboy feeding his horse noodles from a takeaway-box using chopsticks.
Cowboy: Me, asking them to play a new fun game
Just one session
Horse: My friends, unaware
Noodles: An addiction to d&d
So far we have not gone beyond D&D 5e where we started, but I hope to get them to try out Cyberpunk Red next.
That’s a start! As long as people aren’t getting locked into a single system I’m happy. There are hundreds of great indie systems to try! Mork Borg (and hacks like Bork Borg), Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Powered by the Apocolypse (and the MANY hacks), Monster of the Week, the list goes on!
TSL is so good!
After one shot: “we could probably do more with these characters.”
And then you’re in a campaign.
Overall PbtA is awesome for intense dramatic action.
