Lemmy.world is by far the most redditesque userbase
And I won’t be the one telling you otherwise. It’s reddit 2, period.
I won’t deny that Hexbear developed a culture while slow-cooking in their corner (nor would I say there’s nothing interesting to read on their instance, very far from it). However, I’ve seen the same kind of behavior coming from them that turned me off reddit in the first place. It makes me avoid interactions with them…
I already thought they had one of the most “redditesque” userbase of Lemmy. The mods and admins being on par for the course isn’t surprising. Also, with the lack of trust in their users displayed here, it seems like they reject the monster they’ve created…
Uncritical support for comrade 42, fighting the good fight against animal exploitation.
Glad to see I’m not the only one who thought about that 😅
Is Anarcho-Leninism a thing now? It sounds as antithetical as an atheist regularly going to the [place of cult] to pray.
Since they’re all over the place in that other post already, some Hexbear anarchists can surely take a little time off from dunking in order to explain how they deal with such a contradiction, and what it means exactly for them.
@[email protected] and @[email protected].
I’m surely talking out of my rear-end, but isn’t possible for an eventual developer to go the way of the SM64 port: having to provide a rom in order to get the assets? As far as I know, those responsible of said port haven’t been bothered by Nintendo.
Can I already get my hopes up for some PC ports?
I was totally whelmed by this game, and thinking about it, it’s quite uncommon to have this old jaded coot’s expectations met. They promised a horror themed love story, and nailed it.
Tangentially, I’m happy for its success, because it means that the funding of the remaining episodes of Scarlet Hollow is secured.
Now I’m curious to see how the U.S. will react.

So unexpected…
