When the game went from 1 alien to many aliens was when it outstayed it’s welcome for me.

Most everything else was paced well enough and fun but by then it was too long and the last portion of the game after that was more about having enough flamethrower ammunition to keep the aliens at bay as your sprinted

I mean in the past hackers posted a lot of data online without getting caught…like the Ashley Madison hack for example. You don’t have to use a middleman journalist to post it

I love emulation on my phone as a hobby and his is hitting the sweet spot where by the time I need to upgrade again in a few years everything up through PS2 generation should be full speed even on mid tier phones that typically still offer micro SD

And 8 tb of micro SD is enough space to carry literally entire romsets for every system I like besides PS2/GameCube which is fine.

Bigger question to me is why haven’t the hackers just uploaded the details to like pastebin or some other neutral data upload site ? That seems to have been what was done in the past and in turn given the media free reign to share the info

Yeah ngl sometimes I just get sad when the game offers only multiplayer or the single player mode was designed clearly as an afterthought

I remember when I first heard about Oculus on I think kickstarter… I thought it was cool.

Then I heard Facebook was buying it and I just wrote it off and knew I’d never have interest in it again. Bought by the wrong type of company

Tad Williams low key you get no GOT or GRRM without him. If you ever read the memory, sorrow and thorn series of books you basically see where much of the inspiration for GOT came from

I wish we could do less of the " prove to the tirbe/other men the woman is wortht" and just have the heroine be on equal footing from the start… I enjoyed prey but felt that plotline distracted too much from the other narratives. Just like in Alien Ripley is already well respected and does not have to prove herself to the others.

I loved a lot of ps1 era rpgs

One that always stuck with me was Legend of Legaia

Never met anyone who played it and the sequel on ps2 was terrible.

Some unique things I never saw in a turn based rpg again:

1. Armor you could buy and equip per slot and you were able to mix and match… This meant you could look really stupid when farming money for different sets but it was exciting to get a new item and equip it and see

2. This was a turn based rpg but had some inspiration from arcade fighter games of the time… You would enter your attacks like up down left right x y z and then say ready and your character would do a combo… You could randomly enter combos and learn new specials and finishes etc… Also a lot of ways to learn them through exploration and such

Not unique the game has a ton of fun side quests, games and secrets as well…

Some of the short stories are hit or miss but they are short and worth reading either way and only short
