IMO the problem is a lack of tags on Lemmy, which are often used as content warnings. With a robust tagging system, people would be able to filter out tags they dislike, such as genAI or politics.
Collectively, they’re part of the Threadiverse, which is a subset of the Fediverse that focuses on threaded content. Technically, though, Mbin is not strictly a part of the Threadiverse, as it also allows microblogging.
Does anyone know where I can find a pool with a lifeguard like this? Asking for a friend.
I should have clarified in the post; this is not my opinion, nor am I a participant of Raddle. I just found a cool link that I wanted to share.
[An Anarchist FAQ] is written entirely by one man and often pushes a strong Bookchinite perspective, to the point of smearing the anarchist currents that Bookchin rallied against
Again, I don’t have much of an opinion on this, as I don’t know how much of it is true. I haven’t read AFAQ in much detail: I preferred the digestibility of Peter Gelderloos’ Anarchy Works.
alsuu what is inshallah?
As a sexual person, I agree

I prefer that shit like this remains paywalled 🙏🙏
Oh no, Trump couldn’t secure a deal!
In my opinion, https://themoviedb.org/ is slightly better than the alternatives.
You can still donate to Lemmy without supporting ML! From https://threadiverse.link/lemmy.ml/post/29579005:
Update: For those of you who want to support Lemmy development without financing the hosting of lemmy.ml, know that the hosting is paid exclusively through OpenCollective. You can see the payment details at this link. This means donations through all other platforms (Liberapay, Ko-fi, Patreon, Crypto) are exclusively for Lemmy development, and not a single cent goes to lemmy.ml hosting.
Edit: Liberapay is the preferable donation option, as it has very low fees and is also open source.
Does this mean that a transgender Spider-Person would just be a cisgender without any superpowers, due to double negatives?
The restroom is actually John Chess’s natural habitat. You’ve been warned.
You can actually play this at https://www.infinitechess.org/!

Also, in a now-deleted comment, someone had politely asked the admin some basic questions, to which the admin had replied, “whatever.” When someone else asked the reason for such a rude reply, the admin essentially responded, “I’m a developer, communication is not my forte. Now, shut the fuck up.”
P. S. I took the liberty to paraphrase the final response, as I don’t remember the exact words used.
