I think we need to educate foreigners that food banks are not government programs. These aren’t free meals. They’re meant to keep people from starving to death and are donations of kindness.

I caught someone I supervise using a food bank (I know how much he makes and he just bought a second car a week prior) I asked him privately if everything was okay and if he needed any support from the company. No word of a lie he told me “I pay my taxes so I’m entitled”.

I did some digging and that seems to be a common misconception.

Even when it was the bears, I knew it was them.

I remember when there was a distinction between libraries and community centres. It’s too bad that libraries are basically community centres now.

I find it almost impossible to locate a quiet study environment for distance learning. Everywhere you go in this city there’s always someone having a horizontal phone call, talking loudly or listening to music on their speaker. Can’t even get peace in your own apartment anymore.

Have you not been downtown watching people trying to cross the street with less than 3 seconds on the timer? You’re not supposed to start crossing if its flashing you’re supposed to finish if you’ve already started.

People are in such a rush to get to their pathetic corporate jobs they can’t wait the extra 20 seconds whether in a car or on foot.

Don’t go with fdroid. Go with Obtainium. You can download apps directly from Github and it updates automatically. Smaller attack surface and it’s one less hoop to jump through.
