It’s extremely spot on that instead of doing obvious things that would better the city they just invest in a bunch of industry and tech instead. Very on the nose. It’s the same false reality bubble that got Putin to think he could take Ukraine in 3 days, Same one that made Britain dipshits think Brexit was going to be a golden age and it was the opposite, and now Trump and his republican dumbfucks are under the same illusion that rewinding the clock to the late 1800s and trying to force this country to be a christian kingdom of conformity and idiocy will be a good thing long term and not spell the end of this place allowing China to finalize their technological power takeover and become the new pinnacle of influence on the planet.
