When will it be commercially available though? Supposedly Seagate has had 30TB drives out for the better part of a year, but I can’t find anything larger than 24TB actually available for purchase.

Clockwise=lockwise
Most hardrives live in servers, as part of storage volumes where IO can be optimised well beyond the capability of a single disk.
For the boot disk on my workstation I am absolutely using an SSD, but for the hundreds of terabytes of largely static data that I need to keep archived? Spinning disks all the way. Not only to SSDs need to match on price, but they also have a long way to come in terms of longevity.
If it is earmarked for purely defensive equipment, it still indirectly funds their genocide by freeing up other money for it.
My laymans assumption is that acupuncture likely has a counterirritant effect, which can make pain seem less pronounced.
Sort of like how punching yourself in the side of the head can provide relief for a migraine.
We already did this unintentionally during our natural evolution. All we really got out of it were a group of humans who can run slightly faster on average, and a group of humans who can drink milk as adults without shitting themselves.
I imagine the timeframe to get any noticable results would be in the thousands of years, even with deliberate selection for specific genes.
Given that a meat diet necessitates cruelty, the lesser harm is always going to be a plant based diet, the burden of proof should be reversed.
In the majority of cases, its still going to be stuck under a mangled car that you cant move because it is on fire. A better solution might be to route multiple ‘flood tubes’ to the battery compartment and place them in easy accessible places. That way you would just need to pop pff an access panel and hook up a hose.
No, they are omnivores, meaning that they do not require meat.
The trick is to justify buying one for your business, and then using it yourself after hours.
As a business asset, it has paid for itself fivefold in less than a year. As an employee of said business, i have unlimited access to a machine that I could never personally justify the expense of.
I wouldnt advise it. You tend to end up with a ‘gloopy’ rather than ‘thick’ consistency.
I wish that more effort would go into developing sterilisation methods, rather than killing these animals.
While invasive species are often harmful to the natural ecosystem by outcompeting or killing natives, the individual rat or possum has no more choice in where they were born than you or I. Why should they have to die for the mistakes of the humans five generations removed who brought their ancestors here?
“Zen” by addiction foods seems to be the winner among my lot. Not sure how easy it is to get outside of NZ though.
My dogs eat plant-based kibble, and have no issues whatsoever. Much like yours, all of mine were rescues, and their condition improved noticeably after we brought them home.
I attribute it to their escape from abuse and neglect rather than any part of their diet.
Counterpoint to that, the guy had a known history of locking himself inside those things and trying to escape as a challenge.
The kīngitanga movement arose generally out of opposition to european expansion. Groups of Māori determined that if they could unite the disparate tribes under a single leader they would have more power to resist the british.
It only dates back to the 1800s and doesnt have the support of all tribes, but much like the european monarchs they are effectively just soft power figureheads.
Rwd is just a less complex system, meaning it can be made cheaper. At it’s most basic, you have a single universal joint and a differential as the only “complex” parts. You dont have to worry about transmission of power to wheels which are constantly changing alignment.
…don’t all nutritional labels do this? Is it not a legal requirement basically everywhere?
Why not replace the dc-dc converter? Seems like a much simpler fix.
