That’s a superb kick out by the keeper to set up this counter.
It means he will now face a three-match ban rather than one and the Mail reports his language towards referee Anthony Taylor was ‘personally abusive’
Personally abusive? I’m guessing he was asking if a hair pull is a red card offence? Or if he’s certain that he should be awarding a penalty, considering the one he gave for Newcastle against Wolves was a complete error. Or if he’s come to terms with the fact he will never be given a European final again following last season’s Europa Conference final.
To be honest, Taylor is one of the worst refs in the league. He would probably take personal offence to Dunk asking him if he was sure, considering how arrogant and clueless he seems to be half the time. I look forward to him being fucked off to the championship for another week.
Oh, shit. I was born in 86, so he was the first England manager I remember at a major competition (Euro 96).
As an Arsenal fan, I’m really grateful we have Trossard and Tomiyasu. Both can cover multiple positions and both are really talented footballers.
I agree with him 100%. It’s why most of the big clubs have bigger squads and players with some good versatility, so help cover multiple positions and allow others to rest. It’s hard on the smaller teams and those with less back up options in their squads. Brighton especially seem to be decimated with injuries whilst also having to factor in a European schedule.
Nobody following the back post runner. Pinnock with all the space of West London there.
When you’re a club like Betis, it baffles me that decision-making could be so short-sighted that you end up going after a 35 year old free agent.
I mean, Bayern are also looking to sign a free agent. Sometimes you can’t predict an injury crisis and the free transfer market is all that’s available until the window opens again.
As a fan, I say that “proper England players don’t warm benches for their clubs, or go to play in retirement leagues for the pay day if they still want to paly for England”.
But that’s just my opinion.
It’s when you leave the field of play for a set amount of time. Like a temporary red card.
Considering it’s a widely used sporting term, I guess they didn’t feel the need to explain what it was.
