German here as well. From the pizza place of my choice, I usually order a large pizza (36cm) and some extra pizza rolls. 22 Euros in total, delivery included. I usually tip around 10%, so rounded up 25 Euros. And that’s considered expensive where I come from. I remember it being way lower.

May I ask where in Germany you are? Just the general direction?

It took months to get my mother, as a german citizen, surgery with chronic pain and I, as a german citizen, still don’t have the therapist I need. The only ways to get an appointment quicker are moving somewhere where someone has time or an emergency, to which chronic pain does not count. (Or getting lucky, I guess)

Healthcare sadly isn’t free in Germany. As long as you’re not a citizen, it’ll be painful all the way and depending on what you have, it’ll be painful regardless. I’m trying to get proper psychological help and progress has been slow to non existant. And the bureaucratic process is also painfully slow and awful. It’s not impossible to get through though, with maybe some help from the local social workers. Several organizations for helping queer people out too, regardless of where they come from. But regardless of your choices, I wish you the best of luck and success and get well soon.

Ich könnte schwören, extra nachgeschaut zu haben nach Demos in meiner Stadt, nur um nix zu finden, aber dann heute hier zu erfahren, dass gestern doch etwas war. Also das ankündigen und eintragen der Demos muss noch etwas flüssiger laufen. Und damit meine ich nicht auf Instagram, wie ich das schon häufig gesehen habe.
