Nintendo’s mission is to put smiles on the faces of everyone we touch. We do so by creating new surprises for people across the world to enjoy together. We’ve forged our own path since 1889, when we began making hanafuda playing cards in Kyoto, Japan.

not outsmarted because the people on top are complete idiots, but essentially yes. the people on top will always have the power to revolutionize(not in a good way) the instruments of production to suit their needs and the common working people of the world will be the ones living in the consequences of their actions.

this reads like a capitalist propaganda leaflet that falls out of the sky for you to read in the 1940s. what if I told you that you can have a functioning society that isn’t predicted on exploitation of labor and doesn’t require you to live like a hermit in the forest. you should read some Adam Smith or some shit if you’re going to talk about labour division and specialization as if it’s a good thing. you can laud it all you want, but Smith is very clear this is a system of masters and labourers where society is built on your masters giving you just enough rent so you can afford to pay another (or even the same) master back while you and the other laborers compete against each other in a labor market while the masters watch. he even warns if you divide too much, you end up with a pile of shit. we’re there now. we’re a pile of shit. nobody wants to work their meaningless job that was sold to them on this capitalist American dream thought up by a bunch of anglos from 1790.

ty beanies are infinitely less of a scam than crypto too. even if your beanie baby was worth nothing, at least you still had a physical stuffed animal that you can wipe your tears with. wtf are people doing with their Google drive hosted jpeg?

what point are you even trying to make here? we know we don’t own the music. if you truly care about DRM issues, then you’re not even on Spotify to begin with. DRM is not the problem with this post. this is specifically software locking previously free features for the sake of increasing shareholder value down the line. say what you will about that, but it does not have anything to do with DRM or ownership…

  • I’m also on this boat also. moved here from the West Coast and feel completely scammed here in Boston. it’s actually insane too because most of the people here have bought into the completely corrupt politics that have caused the housing market to get to this place. if you ask people here, most will say they prefer Boston housing because of “tenant protections” and that brokers provide an essential service in such an impacted housing market. those guys are fuckin donkeys. the Boston housing market exists on the backs of students who cycle through apartments at a huge rate every year, and the broker industry makes a killing abusing poor college students into paying brokers fees when they move every year. every industry involved in the Boston housing market is in cahoots with this system. they’re all criminals in my view. that on top of the fact a broker came into my apartment without permission to show my apartment and walked into my bathroom while I was showering. I was full nude and the dude waved at me and proceeded to show my bathroom to his clients on clients with me naked in the bathroom. criminals.

  • whatever you do, just do not get anything with capacitive buttons. I used to run with Sony WF-1000XMW but if you sweat too hard or have a hood on that’s wet with sweat or take your shirt or sweater off, it’ll press on the capacitive buttons. I switched them for a cheap pair of Sony WF-C500 that have physical buttons and they work great
