I’m running Windows ARM just fine with parallels on my M1 MBP. Haven’t had any issues, even weird legacy software that needs serial drivers works fine. MS did a great job with the ARM version of Windows.

Not normal. But also not a problem. You couldn’t sleep, needed something to occupy yourself.
Wireguard is just a VPN, it can’t magically bypass any firewall or network ACLs. If you have access to change those rules then it would be the same as any other network.

And you can use a terminal with stock Android. Although you’ll probably need to root it to do anything useful.
Personally I feel it’s worth it. If you stick with a name brand like Samsung you will get a long life out of it. The loading times are noticeably faster on SSDs.
I’m having a great time with it. My wife and I are going through it together. Local multiplayer works great.
Having played various Mario games starting with NES I really enjoy the side-scrolling retro feel.
