If England are sandbagging, every single person involved needs an Oscar. In fact, chuck in the Emmy, Grammy and Tony as well and EGOT the lot of them.
It’s a correct flavour, but I wouldn’t go as far as to use the definite article.
Fordy is right to look nervous. Argentina, Japan, England is my bet.
Yep, my TV is the chattiest device on my network according to PiHole. Blocked all the telemetry and it still works fine.
Was at Twickenham for that shambles today. Have to fly to Cyprus for a work course on Monday. Might try to work in a barbecue in the meantime.
Congrats to Fiji, they deserved the win.
Started OK but the sudden bout of weather seemed to put the brakes on any attack we had. And then it all fell apart. Asleep defensively and we seem to have forgotten how to deal with a wet ball, which is odd given the summer we’ve had. Fiji played well but we gave them the game. Can’t even blame the ref, Peyper was fair.
Smith injected a bit of energy when he came on. Will give him that much.
I just don’t know what’s going wrong. Players that have been playing together for years suddenly have no chemistry, and look clueless. When we did have possession, the attack was completely one dimensional (after the weather) with Smith being the only person to attempt anything beyond passing it down the line.
Argentina and Japan are rubbing their hands together.
Yup, agree on England and Fiji. It’s a stronger England side than you’d usually see starting against Fiji, hopefully both sides put up a fight.
Just arrived at Twickenham after an odyssey across London due to train strikes. Not been to a “big” game for years and really looking forward to it.
Not really watched England since the 6N, find it too depressing. Hoping for a decent performance and proper game today. Hopefully Fiji are getting optimistic.
Nonsense is right. He may not be a dirty player, but then there’s a fair weight of documentary evidence that suggests he’s simply incapable of playing professional rugby to the standard required of him.
Well you’ve just made me realise that I’ve been doing bins wrong. I tend to go handle out, without really thinking about it, but it’s just more awkward for everyone involved. I’ll change my ways on Wednesday.
Busy day out in London yesterday, so taking it easy today. Gym this morning, light housework later on then maybe play some games with the football on in the background.
A couple of friends are getting into Remnant 2 and trying to convince me to pick it up. Holding out so far. Glad you’re enjoying it!
Another shout to No Such Thing as a Fish, one of my favourites. Saw them live a couple of years ago and it was a great show.
Dan from NSTaaF has a relatively new show called We Can Be Weirdos, where he talks to interesting people about their more esoteric beliefs. Can be a little bit and miss, based on the guest, but the episodes with Bexy Cameron and Andrew O’Neill are particularly great.
My other favourites include Kermode and Mayo’s Take, the Rock Paper Shotgun Electronic Wireless Show and Stealth Boom Boom, which is similar to Cane and Rinse but specific to stealth-based videogames.
I’ve probably played 10s of hours of it and I have no idea what’s going on. Run in, make sure you’re holding down the scream button, swing your weapon a few times, maybe get a few lucky hits in, die. It’s brilliant.
I’ve had to force myself to go back to Horizon to finish it off before I disappear down BG3. Also got Dave the Diver on the go.
It’s bloody brilliant isn’t it. Not usually one for sci-fi novels but loved the series so thought I’d give it a go. Read the first 3 so far and now taking a break and reading something else.
I enjoyed The Wandering Village, but the micromanagement to stop the poison got on my nerves. Should get back to it really.
I’ve joined every other Steam user in playing Dave the Diver. Lovely.
Dugtrio, I choose you!
