Yeah, we don’t get footage of bombings on military installations outside of cities for obvious reasons, but there were some (low res) satellite images that confirm at least two hits on military installations (the Aman warehouse and the Rabin camp). I’m not saying they’re hiding thousands of military casualties or anything but none at all in a state at war, with conscription?

I’m also pretty hesitant to believe that the only people injured when Soroka took a glancing blow were civilians given that a lot of soldiers receive treatment there, but that’s just conjecture.

Not clear whether that 50-100bn figure (approx $10-20bn USD) is simply totalling all the costs so far or a general estimate for the overall cost the war will have. Total GDP of the entity is around $500bn USD for context.

So the israelis are just obscuring all military casualties from the Iranian strikes, right? It’s completely unbelievable with the number of confirmed hits on IDF/related institutions that no military personnel have been killed.

I gave sources in a comment ages ago which you can find if you scroll far enough in my acct, and my claim was not that Kataib Hezbollah collaborate but that many groups under the PMF umbrella do. It is not controversial in any way to state that there was collaboration and co-ordination between the PMF and the US military as both were engaged with ISIS on the same battlefield. I’m not even being critical of the PMF for doing this as they were literally fighting ISIS to protect their country, but there is obviously going to be some level of co-ordination between on-the-ground forces and air forces in any kind of campaign, to make sure that the air forces don’t bomb friendly troops. Can you shut up with this tiresome shit?

They gently reversed some of that guidance yesterday (before the major strikes we’ve seen since). Not clear whether it will stay reversed given that Iran is now carrying out some of the most successful salvos yet. There will be significant economic disruption due to the Haifa port refinery being knocked out for at least a month, the two gas platforms that are shut down, the disturbance to work and the exhaustion caused by repeatedly having to rush to shelters. This is all manageable in the short term but how long will it go on?
