Das kranke an der Sache ist ja, dass für die Anbieter das Roaming in der Schweiz spot billig ist, Mobilfunk ist im Vergleich mit Deutschland eh extrem günstig. Ich bezahle für unbgerezte Telefonie in ganz CH/EU/UK/NO/USA/Canada/China und unbegrenzte Daten in CH + 50 GB roaming in EU/UK/NO/USA/Canada/China 20 CHF pro Monat. Darin ist sogar tethering enghalten ich bräuchte Zuhause tatsächlich gar keinen Glasfaser Anschluss wenn mir die 400-600 MBit/s über 5g reichen würden.

Auch immer dran denken, dass sowohl O2 als auch vodafone die Schweiz als eine andere Galaxie betrachten und teils horrende Roamingebühren berechnen, während die Telekom die Schweiz im EU Roaming inkludiert.

Selbst wenn man selten in der Schweiz ist, kann eine kurze Fahrt über Basel nach Frankreich ans Mittelmeer oder ein Trip nach Italien bei o2 und vodafone schnell sehr teuer werden.

Btw: Es lohnt sich oft eine ausländische esim als zweitkarte im Handy zu haben, da man dann bei Netzüberlastung im Feierabendverkehr am Bahnhof oder in Netzlücken einfach manuell in allen Netzen roamen kann. Nutze ich häufig mit meiner T-Mobile prepaid Karte in der Schweiz im Raum Zürich, in überfüllten Feierabenzügen ist Swisscom oft am Anschlag (grade was den upload angeht), aber Salt funktioniert mit der T-Mobile Sim super.
