I’ve never seen the originals, as he’s not that popular in Europe. My only exposure is “Bill Nye Saves The World” on Netflix. I couldn’t get past the first episode.
I’m a big fan of Sagan, and while I don’t think NDT’a Cosmos: A Space time Odyssey was as good as the first series, I was mostly looking at Nye’s show with the same lense and trying to draw comparisons between them.
I personally found his style really abrasive in the first and only recent show I’ve seen. Reddit was shitting all over him too, stating mostly that he’s a prick and not friendly IRL at all.
That said what he advocates for is right.
Stop lice!
No, they are saying that Android and Apple both have a privacy issue on the same level.
Sorry. By manga I’ve meant image data, like pngs or JPEGs.
Maybe it’s the regular vs Pro lineup. I never had any experience with the regular lineup. I’ve bought my wife a 14 Pro, and the experience there is the same as on mine.
It’s the third largest in Switzerland. Very multicultural, in the sense that it’s on the borders with France and Germany.
Is there something similar for manga? Something that can overlay Japanese text on images, similar to what we have on smartphones but for the PC?
Weird, I have the opposite experience. After an S3 Mini and a Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro, my gf let me try her iPhone 8 for a bit and I was amazed by how smooth it was running. I’ve bought a 11 Pro in early 2020 and have been using it ever since. Still works like on the day I’ve bought it, no slowdowns, smooth as hell. I did do a battery swap after the fourth year though.
I wouldn’t mind trying a Pixel with GrapheneOS though. But all Pixels are so large compared to the iPhone Pro lineup.
Man, I had an uncle that would routinely go 5 around his cottage. He always wore an oversized shirt that would cover his bits, but still. Weird dude.
QMK and ZMK are FOSS firmwares that can run on Atmel AVR and ARM chips like the RP2040.
VIA or VIAL are config utilities that you can use to remap your keyboard on the fly.
Sell the 8bitdo keyboard and buy one instead that is capable of running with QMK or ZMK firmware and is configurable by either VIA or VIAL.
Israel will remain as one front. The other one will be closer to home soon.
As in the organization needs to die. Which would quickly bring about the death of Zionist Israel as well, most likely.
That’s not how it works. HSR could be used to alleviate traffic in dense urban regions, without actual cross-country interconnectedness.
So-Cal, Nor-Cal AND something connecting the two with a couple of stops in between.
Salt Lake area.
Houston - Forth-Worth-Dallas - Austin triangle.
Florida.
Urban areas connecting the Great Lakes.
I won’t address the East Coast specifically, as it’s quite evident that it’d have needed something around the same time Japan, Europe or China made strides.
Just to do a quick jump over the border, various governments have been attempting to build a HSR in the Windsor - Quebec City corridor for decades, but the political will is simply not there, and we still have the worlds widest and highest traffic highway that costs a fortune to maintain instead (along with the catastrophe that is the 407ETR).
Meanwhile as the latest example, Italy built up a new HSR system by 2015, in an area that is comparable in size and density to Florida. It has a monthly pass system that even allows you to take your bike on every route. It’s also a national corporation. How come transit in NA is not allowed to be national, except when it comes to funding roads from tax payer money?
This reads like the compulsion of the Godspoken on Path from Xenocide.
