Me this morning. I’m gonna take a look at why this Jenkins pipeline is failing. This one job starts a dozen others. Half are failing. For different reasons. After starting rewriting a job that someone half assed. Realize the original error was caused by missing input but some are still valid. Still can’t figure out why my rewritten program is erroring. Get pulled away because another program did something weird… I completed nothing today but worked a ton.

An actual good survival zombie MMO. Ala what day z and h1z1 were supposed to be. H1z1 had the idea to be a procedurally generated middle america setting that sounded amazing. But it turned into a battle royal. Day Z was supposed to be the hardcore survival zombie but it’s too just turned into essentially a battle royal. I don’t know. I know there has been so many in that genre but I don’t feel like any of the ones I’ve played hit it right. 7 days to die is maybe the closest and I also really liked project zomboid too. I guess I thought dayz captured the realism of the combat with it’s arma roots.

Been using a Dual Edge Safety Razor for a year. It’s so much more affordable and a better shave. I shave every day. I spent like $15 on my razor (1939-45 Gillette tech,) $15ish for 100 razor blades (I use Gillette Nacets) where each one I use for about a week. So what almost two years of blades? I use Arko shave soap which is like $8 a tub and it last me like 3 or 4 months. After shave about $10 again another 2 or 3 months. Most expensive thing was my shave brush which was like $35. Won’t buy another for forever.

Anyway. It’s a nice thing to do. It will take a few weeks to get used to. The shave is excellent and once your used to it you can shave just as fast as the disposable ones with a crazy close shave.

That’s something. I worked at Dell for a year a long time ago and I can safely say it was the worst job of my life. Hated everything about it. I was jealous of the grounds keepers id see out my windows. Only lasted about 9 months. However, I still think their computers are decent as far as the big computer manufacturers go. I’d buy one today if I needed to. Although looking into manufacturers like system 76 makes me think I’ll go that route for my next laptop.

I wanted to but my pixel bootloader is carrier locked. Supposedly you can call and ask them to unlock it if you own the device but not sure if that’s true.

Yeah same. It sucks. I got into Google stuff back when Gmail was in beta and invite only. Admittedly I really only use Gmail, drive and the calendar. But the sso aspects is the part that is the hangup I think. I have so many accounts utilizing their identity provider solution.

Finally had to leave liftoff today. The lack of updates and primarily the inability to block instances made me move to connect. I really liked liftoff. It was very close to Reddit is fun good.

I had to block their Instance. I am very sympathetic and generally agreeable to many communist ideals but their brigading and style of that community is annoying.

Yeah Gmail is the hardest. Just for the sheer amount of logins. Been with it was an invite only beta in like 2005. I got a paid proton account but it’s hard to shake it because I’m constantly needing to log back in with it.

Fwiw, I got on my first adhd meds (generic Adderall )with out any of these “requirements”… I did have a blood test the same day I got my first script but it was just a standard panel for becoming a new patient with my pcp. My new doc at the time just talked to me for about 30 mins and had me do a adhd survey. Also told my doc that I was using medical marijuana previously and she said that it made sense and even supported it. I also drink and listed as such but my level of drinking isnt anything concerning. I might have a six pack of beer a week. I took a chance and found this new doc as my old PCP was an asshat that acted like he never believed anything I was saying. I had stopped using medical marijuan already for a job that still believes weed is like meth or whatever which is annoying but it’s a good job. My doc is my age and gets it… When I described my depression systems as “millennial garden variety depression” she was like “where everything just kinda sucks?” I was like yeah! Find a new doc. This isnt normal. Best of luck. I’m on vyvanse now and its definitely been the best fit for me. I wasn’t diagnosed till my 30s. Wish I would of done this twenty years ago when I realized I was different.

Fwiw, I switched to Linux a couple months back (pop_os!) and I’ve been very happy. I’ve had some minor issues (random gaming proton crashes, os freezes) and some learning experiences. Occasional fiddling with stuff seems required but not an every day thing. The benefits of Linux vastly outway the minor issues.
