Hi There! This instance is a general purpose instance. We’ve got a couple fairly sleepy local communities and federate with all the cool spaces.
It’s run by Lagomorph Labs, which names all its projects after rabbits. It’s not necessarily themed in any way.
You should check out the OpenNic project, which is an organization that has already attempted what you’re describing.
It’s the default SMS application on Pixel devices.
