Only concern I guess for me is I previously made the choice to join here because I really like the idea that the users of the instance are the main driving force in the direction and choices of the instance. Just hope that kind of ‘autonomousness’ (I prob made this word up lol) stays in tact. Maybe you can comment on that cuz I didnt see it addressed in this post
Will try this tomorrow since I am observing Lent! Thanks for the recipe!
I use [Plasma Wallpapers Dynamic](https://github.com/zzag/plasma5-wallpapers-dynamic) . Instead though I set it up where it changes some scene every few hours to match daylight conditions, but you could accomplish exactly what you are asking – you just have to provide the actual wallpaper file for each hue and then specify what time for when you build the background

I think you can if you layer them, right? I run bazzite on one if my machines and I had to do that for something I wanted. Should keep it to a minimum but since this a key piece of your workflow it should be okay
I haven’t really had to run a VM for anything but I think Qemu is the main program used by most people for running VMs.
There is also this project I was going to experiment with but I never got around to it. Maybe you could give it a go https://github.com/winapps-org/winapps
I am staying with FF until Orion is useable on linux. They just started development
Got it up and running on a Debian distrobox… now I need to figure out how to train it. Will be my first steps into this type of thing – so prob will take me a bit to figure out how it all works
They are porting to Linux was just announced not long ago… however dont know how long that will take. I am just gonna keep using FF until I can try Orion.
Using a firefox derivative I dont think is a good option as it will always be behind on security updates… I guess I am going to wait until the Orion Beta / software comes to Linux which was announced recently. Orion is a WebKit based browser that is on iphone / mac
SPAXX on fidelity is pretty easy to get into. Just open a Fidelity account and xfer your money there. During high interest it was getting 5% now its about 4% I think. You get paid out every month.
To invest I think it makes more sense if you are holding for 5 years minimum
I had one of the initial batches and the hinge was too weak. They came out with stronger ones that are much better which I now have. It was cheap and easy to replace
It is a program that allows you to torrent stream live sport events… I use it to watch UFC PPVs for example.
A lot of people use it to watch football/soccer
I had not heard of this one yet, just gave it a try and I like it. Thank you!
I tried this but it looked too strange on KDE since it is a gnome app. My cursor becomes 10x the size
There is also a magnify feature you can try to have it zoom in, you can find this under Controller settings> bind some button > System > toggle magnifier
I did this for a diff app. And did a back paddle that I have to hold for 3 seconds
You can change how far you zoom in or out under the regular steamdeck settings > display > Advanced > magnifier scale
I admit I have not tried this at all, but maybe check if there is a key combination to go full screen for FreeTube and map that key combination to a button! That’s what I would do
Hopefully this will drive even more users to switch over. I find myself finding Reddit less useful as time passes by
Could be that the ace id was just not a good link. This did work but I have now went with a more native linux option using an Ubuntu container (distrobox). I will probably write a guide for that soon. It is not as easy to setup but I think it is more reliable. You have to use two programs instead of one which sucks a little bit (ace engine & vlc)
