Missing wefwef. Every app has its flaws, but Connect is the more feature-rich.
It’s easy to complain about the bugs in every one of them, but let’s not forget that for the vast majority of us, we didn’t even know that Lemmy ever existed a month ago.
Progress has been astounding
Lemmy has grown exponentially in the past month, it’s frankly amazing how well it’s able to sustain the massive influx of new users, but yeah, some features like this one are dearly missed
IMO thats the beauty of a federated network
I think you are mixing two things up. Some 4k remasters have incredibly distracting film grain. Blade Runner comes to mind. It’s a matter of personal taste and how accurate you want the film to reflect the film source.
The more compressed the file is, the les accurate it is, and film grain is the first thing to get crushed by compression algorithms
You can still direct link Imgur pics using 3rd Party Apps (yeah I know) like ImgurViewer
Seeing all these new Lemmy apps popping up… such a nice view
Same. I will switch back to jerboa once .world updates to v18 but for now wefwef is a good alternative.
You mean community? An instance is basically a server that connects to other instances, which themselves host communities on different topics.
On the web interface, you can create a community on your instance (Lemmy.ca). Once other instances have indexed your newly created community, it will appear to every member of their instances
Thanks! It baffles me that the most popular Lemmy app doesn’t work on .world, one of the top two Lemmy instance.
It’s incredibly fast as well. Beautiful UI
That’s crazy. I imagine that at such depths, organic remains take longer to decompose than usual.
And so close to the deadline as well. It’s really weird
Does 36 fixes the issue of .world users not being able to update to 35 because of the instance not updating to v18?
You can check your favorite subs daily and not be overwhelmed by content. It’s a nice thing
Lemmy currently lacks the userbase for niche, specific communities, or subregional communities
I can’t say I’m surprised but its a testament of the slowly dying state of physical media
Thank you so much
Can confirm it works! Thanks so much
Wow. Til, thanks!
