Lot of folk in Australia bitching about the cold, some of the coldest days in decades and some of the coldest days ever for some.places.
Australia is where all the cold is.
It has been pretty cold in the Baltics too. We also barely dodged a massive hurricane, it hit Poland and Belarus pretty hard.
Edit: And now it’s 32 degrees!
Everyone knows, no one does anything, and on and on it goes
We are doing things, just not yet enough.
I’ve been recycling my whole life. Stopped using plastic straws. I drive as little as I possibly can.
I don’t know why it’s not working. Sorry everyone, I’ll try to do better.
You dropped your /S ;)
I know where you are comming from, however. But the thing is, not doing that isn’t helping any either. And one thing that needs to be said, which isn’t reported on nearly as much as it should, the EU green deal, fit for 55, while it still isn’t enough, is legislation which has passed, which has teeth and which will keep EU working to reduce carbon emissions. And will keep us running as fast as we can to be able to make the cut offs and deadlines.
That’s great news! Unfortunately I’m stuck in the US. Best we can do is a crying Indian and line go up.
The US has had falling greenhouse gas emissions since around 2005 or so. There is actually a lot happening there.
