    oh no! What a shocking development. I hope everyone quickly sends The Fediverse Chick all of their money, so that she might be able to pay her tuition. It’s sad that she has unexpectedly fallen on hard times, but I’m sure if every one of us donates every last bit of money they have, things will be really great! /s

    I suggest to message the instance admins & everyone who facilitates the blocking efforts, telling them the BTC / LTC addresses, so that they can quicly set up corresponding filters.

            Nicole isn’t real, but let’s assume she is.

            At age 29 and living in Canada where college is comparatively cheap, she can get a job or take out student loans. I have a couple of Canadian friends, and they’ve described the school situation like this:

            1. If you’re an international student, it’s as bad as over here in the US.
            2. If you’re going to a prestigious university, it’s still less than $10k CAD / year.
            3. If you’re not going to a run of the mill college, $20k CAD should more than cover a bachelor’s degree.

      Pretty sure that’s my fault. Her handler joined lemmy.ca, sent a bunch of test messages through and realized I was just filtering on the unicode they were using. They’ve had to resort to normal spaces to try and obscure the words.
