    Congrats on the new job! If you are on your feet a lot, I can recommend spending whatever you need to get shoes which are a good fit and comfortable for you. A lot cheaper than physio and back pain is terrible.

      Yeah I have shoes I used for work where I’d be on my feet for 8 hours and I also invested in a new pair. Hopefully they’ll be ok on harder floors otherwise, yeah, will buy really good ones. Thanks for the advice!

          Thanks, I hadn’t thought of that but I do own some which cost $50 a few years ago. Also thanks for your kind words. The journaling I do here has become a really important part of my journey through this time of reinvention. I liked the idea when I thought I would do it of publishing it to a small audience for feedback and to keep it real without divulging specific names and places etc. It’s been a rewarding challenge. I’ve never kept diaries.
