In reality if you ever are in a situation where CPR is needed (or anything else really serious) you will be calling 000 and they will guide you through what you have to do. I think it’s a good idea to do a hands on course if you can so it is something you are more familiar with, but you will usually have support available if you need it (barring occassional events like thunderstorm asthma and covid, anyway).
First aid course is now done! It wasn’t as difficult as I was expecting, and the instructor dude was pretty cool and had a good vibe
But please don’t die, because like, they didn’t teach me how to CPR through a screen!
I don’t mind the CPR bit it’s the eye injuries that bother me.
We didn’t really cover eye injuries much. Main takeaway of what we did talk about was just “don’t fucking touch it, leave it to the doctors”
