I don’t know how much ESL ppl want to learn yet another language. There is no global authority that decides on a universal language. As long as borders exist, there won’t be a common consensus on a language other than the one that emerges as a result of hegemony.

Because it is the language of the empire and of white supremacists
And what language do you want to replace it with? And i can assure you that many white supremacists has English as second or third language if they even speak it at all, unless you only count members of the KKK as white supremacists.
