It didn’t need to be. Satan is pictured doing something us Satanists revere him for, rebelling against tyranny.

More like opposing God, like when he wanted Adam and Eve to eat the only fruit God explicitly told them not to eat

        That’s why you follow Stan

Is that why God gives babies cancer? Because our great^1000 grandparents ate a fruit off of his little tree? Sounds pretty tyrannical to me. They punish grandkids for their grandparents crimes in North Korea, too.

Or maybe it’s just all some bullshit. Stan and Jod are not real bruh. Most of us just like the imagery, and what it represents. The opposite of the hypocrisy and tyranny that is Christianity. Logic, reason, and empathy.

To be fair, there is at least a large chapter on empathy in the Bible that the vast majority of Christians seem to skip over. But most of you seem to want to focus on that first book so much.

Who cares? The subject matter is on-topic. Are you suggesting that people should not discuss any works of art having to do with satan, and thus not consider or discuss the context around those works of art, unless they were pro-satan artists? If so, you have a very restricted idea of philosophical inquiry.
