Honestly, I suspect the world needs a counter-movement against centuries of Anglocentric/Eurocentric propagandizing. If media were in any way reflective of reality in these aspects, 95% of the antagonists would either be evil white, western (generally Anglo-American) folk, or working under the service of said evil white Anglos.
Reel Bad Arabs is a good documentary about this - it’s all pervasive throughout Hollywood.
