No offline, he typoed the url btw. I use it because I’m old and miss the old web portal days like igoogle before they ditched it. I made my own page that simulates an igoogle-like web portal, very customizable except you can’t, for some really strange reason, click the header of an RSS feed to get to that page’s home.
Would be sorta meh for me, except I made a sub-page with only 1 column that makes the best start page for a phone I’ve ever seen, because I made it myself with stuff I want to see all at once when I start my phone browser. That 1 feature makes it worthwhile.
Back in the 90s, when Winamp was the only game in town, many of us got tired of messing with the interface to make it useable and efficient. Foobar pretty much was plain Jane vanilla, looked like any other window and had the basics so you could do other stuff and not fuss with the horrendous skin.
After all, you’re typically listening to it, not looking at it, which was the point for me. Winamp’s tiny buttons and such drove me mad.
He has no clue what it takes to amend the Constitution.
Do you mean an occasional one-off transfer or to keep synced constantly?
For one-off stuff, I’ve used Olive Tree FTP server for more than a decade on my android devices. It’s not always on, or a target for malicious stuff like a typical FTP server, you only run it when needed. I’m sending from a Win10 box, you didn’t mention how you are sending, but if it’s a desktop, nothing is easier than a quick FTP server instance.

+1, and the NBA crap is the same.
I watch nothing but the games, the talking heads are simply ridiculous.
Adguard seems to do a good job blocking the Nova calls to home. Thing is, it’s like an AV or VPN, you can only guess that it’s working over time, you really don’t know for sure.
But, I’m LOGGED IN. To Google. Bad actors on the same VPN ip address are not logged in as me (I hope).
I’ve always wondered why Google makes me jump though hoops when I’m tunneled through my VPN. I’m logged in to Google for chrissakes, that should be all the difference in both of these situations.
I deleted all cookies and history in FF on Win10 to fix it.
On the Desktop I can login fine on Chrome, not at all on Firefox.
On android I’d rather use the web browser. So many apps I don’t trust. Between Spoutible, Mastadon, and Lemmy It’s simpler to use the same browser for all.
Brave on Android. Cookies not cleared automatically.
I’m fed up with logging in every day. Why can’t I stay logged in for some reasonable time like other apps?
Used for years, unfortunately it appears to be abandoned.
