Ugh, Westminster, CO. Most showings in the Denver area are at least half full. But most theaters aren’t showing it at all.

It’s because of anti-discrimination laws. In some US states it can be illegal to hire someone for a position without posting it publicly. The concern is that if you’re not posting the job publicly, it can be because you want to prevent certain people from applying.
When you do post it publicly, the company can demonstrate that they allowed anyone to apply, show records that they considered multiple people for the job, and then decided on the internal candidate as the best fit. No room for a discrimination lawsuit.
Source: I’m a hiring manager at a multi-billion dollar company and have actually learned a thing or two from annual compliance training over the years.
It makes for a more defensible argument. No sane person is going to argue that a 4 year old child is an enemy combatant. But a 20 year old male? It’s easy to argue they could have been an enemy combatant and so maybe the numbers are inflated. Saying 1000 people can be interpreted as 999 enemies and only 1 civilian casualty. Saying 1000 women and children is usually interpreted as 1000 innocent lives lost.
It’s even more bonkers that if you puke after communion, it un-tra substantiates and turns back into normal bread and wine. This is why we can never observe the magic.
Is there a “real” or primary manufacturer? I looked it up and it looks cool, but it’s an endless sea of knockoffs with very different prices.
Collaboration is actually useful. The phrase you’re looking for is synergizing the cross-functional modalities.
What is that info based on? It just says yes or no but doesn’t cite any articles or sources.

How the fuck are the bosses blindsided by this? I read about this shit on the Internet days ago. It’ll be cheaper to just pay them then fuck up your production lines and have to mitigate a PR disaster. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
I mean, it’s kind of like intentionally pulling out in front of someone running a red light. Yes, they were in the wrong. But you’re going to get fucked regardless. Sometimes you can simply choose to avoid the problem because criminals gonna crime.
This is the difference between a normal racist and a high functioning racist that knows a failed state can’t effectively oppress the people.
Instead of being a dumbass that’s a bit racist, he’s a mouthpiece for Nazi propaganda. That’s a whole lot worse than making it up.
I’ve been doing software development for 20 years and use a GUI (GitKraken) almost exclusively. I know all the commands, but using a GUI makes self-reviewing my code as I commit it a LOT easier. It’s also way less error prone and makes visualizing complex branching/merging operations easier to understand. It’s overkill if you’re working solo or with a very small team though; I regularly work on projects with dozens of active branches.

Still though, is anyone surprised that the party that openly embraces gun culture does things that embrace gun culture?
“near” is an hour away? Fuck off with this noise. There are actual bad things Republicans are doing that we should be talking about. Not this.
We called them “luggables”. They’re expensive, but having a server in a box with a monitor was worth it when you could lug it to a customer site and give a live demo of your server stuff. We were doing telephony stuff and you could put a $5000 dialogic pcie card in it and demonstrate call handling live. We can do that with software on a standard issue laptop these days, but the luggable helped seal the deal back in 2005.
