What? You know how absentee voting works right?

Fair enough, but it’s a decent reason to like the color I think :)
I can’t imagine a lot of folks are going to agree with me on this, but a nice warm brown is so cozy. Think like the color of Hershey’s chocolate (actually, maybe think of a better chocolate).
It’s the color of chocolate, coffee, big cozy leather armchairs in old oak libraries, a nice well seared steak… What’s not to like?
Have you previously tried to nibble a fish for comparison? Are we talking live or cooked?
Huge fan of both of these, I came to the comments to see if someone already said vote411.org. Really helpful for a brief but thorough snapshot
Eh, I’d be happy with $30 hourly. At 70 hours a week (line cook) I’d be making around $100k. I was making 87¢ an hour above minimum wage at the place I just left. I gave 100% anyway because if I didn’t the experience really sucked
I had a job where I was working 80 hours a week without breaks and my boss told me I was part time
Should be “a slightly longer time ago” though I believe
“1 hug” is a regular addition to my fiancé’s list when she asks me if there’s anything I need. It’s a great addition because then I get my hug!
Let’s play hide and seek, I’ll hide and you seek professional help.
All joking aside, I’m glad you enjoy them! I’ve never really met anyone who does so I always have to just begrudgingly eat the grape candy myself when it comes in a bag with different flavors. I hate food waste too much to throw the damn stuff out
I get where you’re coming from and I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re right, but I used to work with kids in after-school programs doing homework help and a handful of those kids were really surprisingly talented. I saw some really cool art from some of them, so I could see this being real.
I was raised catholic, I always feel that guilt 100% of the time
It definitely is, but they filed in Texas which doesn’t have anti-SLAPP laws for federal cases
As a line cook, cutting up everything before a pan gets turned on is just good mise en place. You shouldn’t start cooking until you know you’re ready and haven’t forgotten anything. The whole process is way easier and more relaxed when you’ve got all the components together in advance
I personally fell in love with it after re-examining my life and what I wanted out of it after finishing cancer treatment. Even though it’s my passion I absolutely don’t want to stay in the kitchen past 35 or so. I don’t want to be giving 70 hours of my life each week to work indefinitely and I don’t think my body will be able to handle it much after that.
Definitely depends on the crowd nowadays. I personally see about a 50/50 split between smoking vs vaping among people in the restaurant industry, and those of us who don’t do either are definitely the minority. Hopefully tabacco/nicotine products will stop being socially acceptable someday, but I can’t imagine it’s going to be any time soon with how popular vaping is.
Top for me so far was hearing my fiancée say yes when I asked her to marry me. I’ve beaten brain cancer twice, but hearing her say yes to forever with me beats that by a massive margin
