And if they’d done the math wrong, they’d have landed among the stars.
It’s a little pricy, but we absolutely love this Cuisinart Air Fryer/Toaster Over thing for anything that was properly cooked elsewhere, though I’ve used it for halfway decent roasted potato wedges straight from the knife. Basket Air Fryers hold so little as to be more frustrating than anything, and stacking deep defeats the purpose half the time. I have no idea if the grill setting works well, though.
Bake setting, 325, 2-3 minutes is all you need for most pizza reheatings.
The only thing I’ll say there is that with burgers you can sometimes get out over your skis and take a tumble. A lot of sit-down places think some giant watery meatball is a good burger. While photogenic, it is not necessarily good, and a short-order smashed patty or (smashed patties) generally taste a lot better and are easier to eat.
The best burgers are almost certainly not fast food burgers, but the worst burgers aren’t either.
I know it was all simple tricks and nonsense covering up a fairly generic dungeon crawler, and that most people preferred the direction the franchise went afterwards, but as a kid I fell in love with the original Shining in the Darkness. Those sprites were friggin’ HUGE!
Like I said. Perfect!
That one tends to prefer under the bed or behind the recliner, anywhere he can have something between him and the mean ol’ world, so seeing him relax in the sunbeam is nice.
But in a centaur, the human torso is placed where the horse neck would be.
Yes, with a perfectly normal human torso. Put a human torso in the same spot and…
BOOOORRRING!! 🤣
I had to look it up too, but it was Victoria. She was great as a celebrity wrangler to make sure they understood the vibe and would roll with the weirdness. I’m not entirely sure we need a Victoria just yet either, LOL.
The [email protected] would be good, as would [email protected] or [email protected]. Also, I am going to gently push back on the idea that you have to make a new community because Reddit has a similar one. An AMA is not philosophically different from the posts on any of several other text-based-engagement communities. If AMA posts start to crowd out the “original” content, then a new /c is warranted, but we just fragmented everything after the APIpocalypse, and discoverability is still a pain requiring steps that shouldn’t be necessary if people just want to communicate.
Neither. The neck is the long part, and do horse-based centaurs have horse necks?
Giraffe centaurs would be underwhelming.
Well, millers are historically thought of as corrupt. Can’t make ol’ Geoff Chaucer look like a liar.
Yes, but only if it’s expired, moldy, or the stack is utterly pulverized. Common misconception that the crispellier is presenting it to you for you to determine if you “like” the varietal. It’s in fact extremely gauche to send back the tube solely because you don’t care for the flavor, as this forces the restaurant to try to sell it by the ziploc.
The ADA hasn’t decided how hard to push it yet, but she was arrested for reckless conduct:
A person who causes bodily harm to or endangers the bodily safety of another person by consciously disregarding a substantial and unjustifiable risk that his or her act or omission will cause harm or endanger the safety of the other person and the disregard constitutes a gross deviation from the standard of care which a reasonable person would exercise in the situation is guilty of a misdemeanor.
I don’t know if I’m instantly ready to side with the state, but none of the signs are there to think this is some intentional abuse of power. She’s a white realtor in a bright red rural county. Unless the cop was some sitcom import straight from “The People’s Gaypublic of California” I have to think they saw something that hit them wrong to drill down through the various layers of privilege. I admit I have a sort of reflexive concern about reason.com as a source, as well. Sometimes it’s sensible, but often it’s just a wankfest for so-called libertarians who have read Ayn Rand and a couple of Austrian-school economics articles.
For Brittany here, I would want to know what she actually told the cop, what her older son said in his interview, what the state of the road is (possibly no sidewalks?), and just generally if there’s a pattern of neglect. They haven’t even decided if they’ll press charges yet, while they play chicken over the signature thing. If they do, here’s the statute:
A person who causes bodily harm to or endangers the bodily safety of another person by consciously disregarding a substantial and unjustifiable risk that his or her act or omission will cause harm or endanger the safety of the other person and the disregard constitutes a gross deviation from the standard of care which a reasonable person would exercise in the situation is guilty of a misdemeanor.
They’ve put up curtains for other events. It wouldn’t be that hard to have some permanently installed. Jerry just likes that the stadium is 2% more telegenic as-is. Then there’s this:
“That really goes under the category of home-field advantage,” Jones said. “It should be an advantage to the home team, so I don’t want to adjust it for one reason because it is an advantage to us. . . . That’s our advantage. That should be our advantage. We get to play there more and we get to have it as an advantage. It has been an advantage for us to know where the sun is. I don’t want to change that.”
Absolute bullshit. The cowboys may be able to use their familiarity to mitigate the harm a bit, but that’s more than outweighed by having to play 5 or 6 later-window afternoon games there every year. Won’t be as big an issue this year, or likely next, as he’s finally cratering the whole operation so they’ll have to play at noon like the rest of the shit teams.
It took the first decade of our being together to do it, but my Texan wife and in-laws finally lodged the Cowboys in my brain as my #2 team (sad Duval noises), so now I get to be a fan of two terribly run organizations.
Incoming Chinese carmaker Xpeng
Australian firm Pegasus Aerospace Corp received airworthiness certification from CASA for its driveable Pegasus E flying police car last year
you would need a pilot’s licence – not simply a car licence – to be able to eventually fly the X2 in Australia.
likely to be bungled in red tape for some time before it could take to the skies
We can take orders… you can secure one with a fully refundable $100 deposit.
So I guess a more accurate headline would be this:
“Australia’s” “first” “flying car” “now” “on sale.”
I’m gonna need some clarifications here. Does the stick/cone/tube go for the ride? How far up the ass does it need to go? Is this a proper insertion or a wedding-cake photo-op mushing situation? If it’s insertion, can the ice cream be modified to fit the butthole, or must the butthole adapt to the ice cream? There’s a lot of moving parts and complex interplay going on.
Some may hope to somehow limit damage and protect at least some students.
Even something as simple as defending the idea that “tenure means tenure,” and riding it out until DeSantis makes that a lie would be laudable IMO.
Reed may be somewhere on that path; they emphasize interdisciplinary programs and narrative grading. I think Oberlin is more of a traditional curriculum, but it’s been a progressive community since the days of the Underground Railroad. I pretty exhaustively researched colleges in the mid 90s (then promptly chose the one that offered the biggest scholarship and three months later fell back on the best in-state option still available), but my mental data is pretty stale by this point.
My daughter is neurodivergent, but she’s only eleven and so far still claims she wants to attend the nearest physical campus to our house and never move out, which sounds alright to me because she’s fun and cool. We will see how the teen years affect this mindset, LOL.
Hush!
